I've been gazing skywards for the past three nights and couldn't resist taking more photos of McNaught's comet.
It's a once in a generation experience and in the next day or two it will disappear from view.
The photo is a poor reproduction, but the sight through my binoculars was supurb.

Thanks for the compliment but my photos was a mere snapshops in comparison with yours.
Camera is a Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ 20.
I took several photos on auto and some on 'night scenes' (shows how un-savvy I am) and I'm not sure which I posted. They were on full zoom and hand-held with a strong wind blowing which didn't help.
Still I was pleased with my result. One advantage is that the night sky here is very clear 70 km east of Perth in W. Australia.
